The Challenges

We knew how high the stakes were with this project – migrating an enterprise-scale blog from Uberflip to WordPress, all without interrupting or hurting the site’s SEO equity. The existing Uberflip URL structure had significant organizational flaws, preventing the main site from gaining topical authority, thus weakening its ability to rank for keywords. The tangible effect of this was a decay in inbound leads attributed to the blog.

Any misstep in this migration process ran the risk of increased declines in traffic, rankings, and domain authority. If there were any hiccups with this approach that would affect current site traffic, it would upset the rhythm of the entire content team.
